| SPECIAL RECOMMENDATIONS |
|---|
| Special Recommendations | There exist other thicknesses of the same material: 12.5microns to 127microns. · Normal use is as external sheet of multilayer insulation. Suitable venting must be provided. · The nomenclature of the Sheldahl company can be confusing and identification of films must be known very precisely for each type used. · Front-face ITO layer is degraded by long-term exposure to RH > 60%. · The ITO layer protects the film from atomic oxygen etching if not damaged. · The ITO layer is stabilised against handling damage by a thermal treatment in air at 250°C. |
