| PRODUCT DATA of Incoloy 901 |
| Material | Incoloy 901 |
| General Information | A nickel-iron-chromium alloy containing titanium and aluminum for precipitation hardening and molybdenum for solid-solution strengthening. The alloy has high yield strength and creep resistance at temperatures to about 1110°F (600°C). A substantial iron content enables the alloy to combine high strength with good forging characteristics. Used in gas turbines for discs and shafts |

| General Corrosion Status | No specific corrosion protection required |
| Atmospheric Corrosion | Has good corrosion resistance to the atmospheres normally found in jet engine operations. It has slightly lower scaling resistance than such alloy as Types 309 and 310 stainless steel. |
| Stress Corrosion Status | High Resistance to SCC: Table 1 Data Quality: Design Data |
| Bimetallic Corrosion | Can be connected without any restriction to: 400 series Stainless steel Can be connected in a non-controlled environment to the above and 300 series stainless steel, Ti and Ti-alloys, Cr, Cu, brasses, Cu-Ni, Al-bronzes, Si-bronzes, Can be connected in a clean room environment to above and Ag, SnPb alloys, Sn, Pb, low C steel, Al-Cu alloys, Cd, Au Needs specific measures: All others Test:ECSS-Q-ST-70C Rev.1 Table 5.1 Data Quality: Design Data |
| Welding | Can be welded by the inert-gas-arc method. It is difficult to weld. All welding should be done in the solution treated condition |
